What's with the name?

Well we all know Jazz when we hear it but here's the historic breakdown!

Jazz is a music genre that originated in the African-American communities of New Orleans in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, with its roots in blues and ragtime. Since the 1920s Jazz Age, it has been recognized as a major form of musical expression in traditional and popular music. Jazz is characterized by swing and blue notes, complex chords, call and response vocals, polyrythms and improvisation. Jazz has roots in European harmony and African rhythmic rituals

Our boards are extra special and will stay with you always, as long as you give them a bit of care.  The goal of board oil and conditioner is to saturate the wood fibers, in order to stop any other liquids (blood, bacteria) and moisture from soaking into the board. A well-oiled cutting board will not warp and will keep its shape.
